Numbers 33:55
IT’S ALMOST SUNDAY DEVOTIONS
But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.

Is a Public Defender Good Enough?
We now live in an era where, through Jesus, God wants to reveal and manifest himself to the world. In this era, God’s manifested presence is not meant to be rare or uncommon. It’s meant to be poured out everywhere. It’s meant to be a regular occurrence for believers to experience His presence manifested among us.
All these things uphold our freedom in Christ and allow for us to experience God’s manifested presence. Until Christ returns let’s keep walking in these things and in our assignment to help as many as we can to find and experience the freedom we have in Christ.
In the Old Testament God revealed and manifested himself at different times, but generally it was limited to a few and limited to one nation – Israel. In the New Testament we see that through Christ, God has chosen to manifest and pour out His Spirit on all people, from every nation whether young or old.
You already know by now that Mountain Dew is my favorite thing in this world (Beside God and then my family) (Mountain Dew is a close third). But did you know that Golf is one of my favorite things to do? It is something that I do not get many opportunities to do though. Seems like I will never be available for it. Plan for it but something even happens. But when I can I absolutely relax to the fullest limit. When I do play, I enjoy playing with friends. Especially the ones I can beat every time. There is no second place for me. Second place is for losers. Can I have an Amen right there? There should never be second place trophies.
In otherwards I like to win if I am going to play. Thats why I am smart. I invite my friends that I know I can beat. If you have never played golf with me, you know why. I cannot beat you. So do not expect an invite.
I have a Pastor friend in Tennessee that I like to go with. Number one, I can beat him. And number two, he is great company. We met when I was 17 years old right after he accepted Christ as Savior. And ever since, we have been great friends. There is no doubt God put us together so I can complain to him weekly. And beat him in golf. He always knows what to say. He worked as assistant Pastor for Dr. Clarence Sexton for many years, so he has a lot of wisdom that I need. In other words, he makes me a better person and a better Christian.
Our verse above reminds us that we must be careful about who we choose as our friends. Look at the verse again…
It summarizes this. The Lords people cannot make friends with the people of the world and have fellowship with them without going the way of those whom they have made their friends. Does that make sense? God never intended for this to happen. Because the world will bring us down to their level. We will never be able to easily pull them up to ours. I believe you should be loving and kind to all but choose your friends wisely. Because this could be how you turn out. Let me end this question. Do your friends make you better? If not, it is time for a change. Choose friends carefully.
